 REN is committed to advancing Open Science and strengthening Somali resear
 ch infrastructure through sustainable solutions. As part of this effort\, 
 SomaliREN is exploring a partnership with DataCite\, a global non-profit r
 egistered in Germany that supports more than 1\,800 organizations across o
 ver 70 countries by providing persistent identifier (PID) infrastructure a
 nd advancing Open Research practices.\nJoin SomaliREN and DataCite for a w
 ebinar introducing the proposed SomaliREN–DataCite Consortium\, and how 
 it can give Somali universities and research organizations a sustainable\,
  cost-effective pathway to access DataCite's infrastructure\, register DOI
 s for more than 30 types of research outputs\, and enhance the visibility\
 , discoverability\, accessibility\, and impact of Somali research.\nThe se
 ssion will also include a live demonstration of SORER\, SomaliREN's own in
 stitutional repository\, a FAIR-principles-aligned\, Plan S compliant plat
 form with built-in DOI and ORCID support\, showing what this infrastructur
