 rganized by the Internet Society Somalia Chapter\nThe internet opens up hu
 ge opportunities - but it also comes with real risks: scams\, hacked accou
 nts\, misinformation\, and devices left exposed to attack. This one-day\, 
 hands-on workshop is designed to give women in Mogadishu the practical kno
 wledge and confidence to navigate the internet safely\, whatever their bac
 kground or experience with technology.\nYou don't need to work in tech or 
 have any technical background to join. This workshop is open to any woman 
 in the community who wants to protect herself\, her family\, and her infor
 mation online.\nWhat You'll Learn\nLed by ISOC Somalia Chapter's Technical
  Officer\, the workshop covers nine practical topics\, including: how to s
 pot and avoid online scams\, protecting your social media and email from h
 ackers\, telling whether an app or website is trustworthy\, recognizing mi
 sinformation\, managing what personal information you share online\, what 
 to do if you've clicked something suspicious\, keeping your device secure 
 (antivirus\, updates\, lock settings)\, strong passwords and two-factor au
 thentication\, and browsing the internet securely.\nThe day closes with an
  interactive activity where each participant builds her own personal digit
 al safety plan to take home.\nWhy Attend\nLearn directly from ISOC Somalia
  Chapter's technical team in plain\, non-technical language. Walk away wit
 h a personal digital safety plan you can start using immediately. Connect 
 with other women in your community focused on staying safe online. All par
 ticipants who complete the workshop join ISOC Somalia Chapter as members\,
