Description

This three-hour Online Trust and Safety workshop will equip participants with practical knowledge and everyday skills for safer use of the internet. The session will cover account and device protection, password security, online privacy, scams, fraudulent websites, misinformation, suspicious links, and safe browsing practices. Participants will also learn how to recognize common online threats, respond after clicking suspicious content, and reduce risks when using email, social media, websites, and other digital services.

The workshop is designed for university staff, lecturers, researchers, students, administrators, communication teams, ICT support staff, and other professionals who regularly use online platforms. No advanced technical knowledge is required, making the session suitable for both technical and non-technical participants.
