Enabling Open Science and Increasing Somali Research Visibility through the SomaliREN–DataCite Consortium

Join SomaliREN and DataCite for a free virtual webinar introducing the proposed SomaliREN-DataCite Consortium - a sustainable, cost-effective pathway for Somali universities and research organizations to access DataCite's persistent identifier (PID) infrastructure, register DOIs for more than 30 types of research outputs, and enhance the visibility, discoverability, and impact of Somali research. The session takes place on 8 September 2026, from 11:00 AM (EAT), and runs 90 minutes.
