We invite universities and interested research institutions to contribute to the first Public Health Research Conference in Somalia.

This year's conference theme is "Laying the Foundation for Health Research: Presentation of Commissioned Topics for discussion and support".

Interested authors are invited to submit abstracts (250-400 words) on the theme or related subjects:

Sub-theme 1: Development of Health Research Priority Setting to effectively promote research areas providing the greatest public health benefits to the recovering national health system

Sub-theme 2: Development of National Ethical Guidelines for Health Research

Sub-theme 3: Promote collaborative and partnership research to improve health services

Sub-theme 4: Somali Universities Health Research and Capacity Building: Opportunities and Challenges and the Way forward

The schedule (deadlines) is as follows:

1. Deadline for Submission of Abstracts: 15 November 2021

2. Notification of acceptance to authors: 20 November 2021

3. Submission of presentations: 23 November 2021
