SomNOG invites network operators, systems administrators, cybersecurity practitioners, academics, researchers, and Internet stakeholders to submit abstracts for the SomNOG9 Conference.

This year's conference theme is "Connected by Design: Advancing Somalia's Digital Infrastructure and Integrated Public Services."

Interested authors are invited to submit abstracts (250–400 words) addressing the conference theme or related subjects within the following sub-themes:

1. Sub-theme 1: Infrastructure and Data Sovereignty
2. Sub-theme 2: Integrated Government and Public Services
3. Sub-theme 3: Cybersecurity and National Resilience
4. Sub-theme 4: Digital Identity and Trust Infrastructure

The schedule is as follows:

1. Abstract submission deadline: 15 August 2026
2. Notification of acceptance: 26 August 2026
3. Final presentation deadline: 10 September 2026
4. Conference: 23-24 September 2026
