SomNOG-7 Technical Workshops
The Somali Network Operators' Group (SomNOG) hosts capacity-building workshops on networking and Internet technology year-round. These technical development sessions occur during the initial four days of SomNOG week, comprising three days of workshops and one day dedicated to tutorials.
The primary objective of these workshops and tutorials is to enhance the skills of ICT professionals and university graduates, empowering them to advance their technical competencies through hands-on training. Ultimately, our aim is to bolster the employability of local university graduates and elevate the service delivery standards of service providers and operators. With a deliberate 60:40 practice-to-concepts ratio, our workshops and tutorials deliver practical skills that directly address prevailing market demands and skill gaps.
